Comments Off on Our Dominion

Warlords, military Generals, Presidents, etc, have been somewhat tagged as heroes because they have had some sort of temporary dominion over certain regions of the earth at one time or the other. The world War 2, the deadliest of wars ever, was all about a quest for dominion. There have been many instances (past and present), all pointing at the quest for dominion. For example, think about the British Empire from the late 19th century. They included within a period of time countries from Europe, North America, Africa, Australia, Asia and beyond. Despite the excellent military structures and strong political mights, these dominions have been crashing or have crashed or have diminished in size. But there is a dominion which is ‘from sea to sea’

and it is ‘an everlasting dominion’ and that is what the scripture says and nothing will stand against that. This is the dominion of the Christ who lives on the inside of every believer, and this means that our dominion which was taken from Adam has been brought back to us through Christ. The kingdom is already here as Jesus Christ has brought back man’s dominion on Earth and that is why the Scripture urges the people of God to say this prayer: “Your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven…” (Matt 6:10). The Word of God can never change. A time is here for us to begin to reign as kings and to show forth the praises of God from our hearts, and then in our actions, in our dominion, until the church is gloried and until He descends with greatness of strength, mighty to save.
